For practice field and weekend game field closures:

Call the Youth Sports Hotline phone number (703) 746.5597. This number is usually updated by the Parks and Recreation Department by 3:00 on weekdays, 7:30 am on Saturdays and 9:00 on Sundays, to alert all sports groups using Alexandria City fields of any practice and game field conditions and closures. Pay attention to the date on the recording to make sure you’re hearing information for the current day.

If players have any questions, they should call their coaches.

For the few games played during the week, this number would also apply. If the city closes the field, the game is cancelled.
