Development Training Ages 5-13
The first two sessions will focus on introducing our youngest players to challenging but age/ability appropriate progressions. The focus is on learning in a fun and positive environment.
July 30th – August 3rd
Advanced Training Ages U9-U19
The Advanced session is geared towards ASA U9 to U19 competitive players. Players will be grouped by age and ability to foster the most appropriate and specific training for each player. Advanced technical and tactical concepts will be introduced and executed in small-sided environments.
Series Summary
ASA summer training series is a fun, but challenging environment where players can play in a relaxed atmosphere while at the same time strengthening their physical, mental, and technical skills. The series provide an invaluable opportunity for players to be evaluated by an excellent team of highly qualified coaches.
Training Director
ASA Technical Director Tommy Park
Graduate of DeMatha High School and product of D.C. United Academy. Tommy was a regional NSCAA All-American at University of Mary Washington where he excelled in both soccer and lacrosse. His coaching experiences include coach of the SAC U-19 Region I premier team. SAC named him Travel Coach of the Year in 2009 after his team entered the top 20 rankings nationally and all twenty rostered players moved on to play collegiate soccer. He enters his sixth year at nationally recognized DeMatha High School as a varsity coach, has been an on-site camp director for D.C. United for seven years and was an assistant coach of D.C. United’s Super-20 Team from 2008-2011. He has his MPS in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University. Tommy was named Executive Director of ASA in the Fall of 2011.

DIRECTIONS
From I-395 - Exit on Seminary Road East (Exit 4). Make first right onto Kenmore Ave., follow curve to right to T at Van Dorn Street. Turn right on Van Dorn Street. At the first light, turn right on to Braddock Road. About 200 yards on the left is St. Stephens Middle School. The fields are behind the school.

Dropoff: 5:15-5:30pm
Welcome: 5:30-5:45pm
Dynamic Warm up: 5:45-6:00pm
Technical Stations: 6:00-7:00pm
Games/Tournament: 7:00-8:00pm
