LOOKING FOR NEW REFEREES!

We need more referees for ASA house games. We also need more USSF-certified referees for SFL and ODSL games. This message provides information on training for both house referees and USSF-certified referees.

Why become a referee?
- Learn the game;
- Give back to the league;
- Make money (nobody pays more than ASA);
- Adjustable schedule;
- Get some exercise.

Referee Training

REFEREE TRAINING – SPRING 2012

ASA will be conducting referee training for players turning 13 years old in 2012. This training will allow those who graduate to referee ASA recreational games for ages U9 through U12 as both a center referee and an assistant referee (linesperson).

Dates: Wed., March 7^th; Wed., March 14^th; Wed., March 21^st. Must attend all three classes.

Time: 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Where: Nannie J Lee Center

Cost: $25 (refunded if you ref 6 games this Spring)

Requirements: Must be turning 13 in 2011; must be a soccer player; must demonstrate in class the necessary maturity to be a referee; must pass final written examination.

Number of students: Limited to 20
