Fusion Red Wins ODSL Division 2 Title - Finalists at NVSC Fall Classic
The u-12 ASA Fusion Red boys team recently completed their ODSL Division 2 season with an undefeated record of 8-0, finished in first place, and will advance to ODSL Division 1 for the Spring season. The boys defeated FCSC United in a battle of unbeatens in their final match of the season, 4-2. During the season, the boys scored 45 goals while only letting in 11. It was a great effort by the boys throughout league play, and they should be proud of their undefeated season.
The boys were also recently Finalists in the NVSC Fall Classic Tournament for a 2nd year in a row. After winning their division, the boys came up short in the Finals against FC Barca '99, 3-0. Before the tournament final, the boys were undefeated in thirteen straight matches this Fall. Congrats again on a wonderful season and good luck next Spring in ODSL Division 1!
U12 Fusion White Wins FPYC Patriot Cup, Named "Team of the Month"
Alexandria’s U12 Fusion White boys took home the Championship at the 2011 FPYC Patriot Cup over Labor Day weekend. The boys outscored their opponents 25-2 over four matches en route to the title. This was the team’s 4th championship and 11th appearance in the finals since U9. Good luck this Fall in NCSL Division 1!
Fusion White was also named "Team of the Month" by the Alexandria Sportsman’s Club for their efforts in the Patriot Cup and NCSL. They were recognized at the club’s September meeting and awarded t-shirts. Great job fellas!

Finalists at Bull Run Memorial Day Tournament as well
The Alexandria Fusion White recently capped off another successful year of travel soccer by defeating VYS FC Elite Red 2-0 on the final day of the NCSL Spring 2011 season. As a result, Fusion White placed second in a very competitive and balanced NCSL Division 2 for the Spring season and will be advancing to Division 1 next Fall. Congratulations fellas on accomplishing such a prestigious honor!
Over Memorial Day weekend, the boys also finished second at the Bull Run Tournament. After three years of travel soccer, the Fusion program has been in the Finals a whopping 10 times while taking home the Championship trophy three of those times. Best of luck in the Fall!
Fusion Red and White Make it to the Finals of the NVSC Fall Classic
Fusion White takes home 3rd Championship!
The ASA Fusion Red and White boys teams made it to the Finals of the 2010 NVSC Fall Classic in their respective divisions to end the 2010 Fall season. In the Finals of the Premier bracket, Fusion White defeated the VISTA Destroyers in front of a raucous crowd at Howison Park, 3-1. After conceding a goal just before halftime, Fusion White went on to score three goals over a fifteen minute span to ignite the offensive onslaught in the 2nd half. This was Fusion White’s third tournament Championship in eight tournament Final appearances. The win in the Finals allowed Fusion White to finish the entire 2010 year with a record of 27 wins, 4 ties, and 0 losses. Congrats on a great year boys and good luck in the 2011!
Also, the Fusion Red boys made their 1st appearance in a tournament Final before losing a tough match to the LMVSC Patriots, 2-0. The boys fought until the very end and displayed moments of brilliance throughout the entire tournament on the offensive and defensive ends. Even though the boys may have lost in the Finals, they were Champions in every other way. Keep up the good work boys!
Fusion White Make it Seven for Seven! Come Up Short in Final of 2010 PWSI Toys for Tots Tournament...
The U-11 ASA Fusion White boys made their seventh straight Finals appearance before losing a nailbiter in OT to the PWSI Courage Red ’00, 3-2. Fusion won their bracket outscoring their opponents 20-2 along the way before succumbing to a controversial goal in OT. Over the course of the past year, including tournaments, Fusion White has won 30 matches with only 2 ties and 3 set backs. Good luck this Fall boys!
U-10 Alexandria Fusion White Take Home the Championship at the Bull Run Tournament
The ASA Fusion White boys recently won the Championship of the Premier Division of the
Bull Run Memorial Day Tournament. This was their second tournament Championship and sixth finals appearance out of six tournaments! The boys won their bracket and semi-final match en route to the Championship where they faced the host team, VSA Heat ’99. After being down 1-0 in the first half, the boys struck three times within the first fifteen minutes of the second half before hanging on for a well-deserved 3-2 victory. Congratulations boys on a great tournament showing and good luck the rest of the 2010 season!
Alexandria Fusion White Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament Finalists
The U-10 ASA Fusion White boys team recently competed in the 2009 Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament and were Finalists in their fifth consecutive tournament! In the Championship match, the boys battled the SYA Cardinals to a scoreless draw in regulation and overtime before succumbing in a seven round penalty kick shootout, 4-3. During the tournament, the boys outscored their opponents, 9 - 1, en route to the Championship match.
On top of that, the boys also finished first in their division during the Fall NCSL season by ending up with a record of 8 wins and 1 loss. Including tournaments, Fusion White finished the Fall season with 15 wins, 2 losses, and 1 tie. Congratulations boys on a successful Fall season and good luck in 2010!

ASA Fusion White Great Falls VIP Tournament Finalists (U10)
The U-10 ASA Fusion White boys team recently competed in the 2009 Great Falls VIP Tournament and were Finalists in their fourth consecutive tournament. In the Championship game, the boys lost a heartbreaker to the Great Falls Rapids, 2-0, after playing in an unprecendented three games in four hours! Throughout the tournament, the boys put on an offensive and defensive display on their way to outscoring their opponents, 24 - 3. Congratulations boys on another successful tournament showing and good luck the rest of the 2009 Fall season!
ASA Fusion are Finalists at SASA St. Patrick’s Day Tournament (U9)
The U-9 ASA Fusion White team recently competed in the 2009 SASA St. Patrick’s Day Tournament and were Finalists in their third consecutive tournament. In the Championship game, the boys lost a heartbreaker to the FASA Elite, 1-0. Throughout the tournament the boys displayed superb saves in goal, rock-solid defense, and several glorious finishes. Congratulations boys and good luck in the 2009 Spring NCSL season!
Fusion Go To Finals in Dulles Tournament and WIN Columbia Tournament! (U9)
In the fall of 2008l, the U-9 Alexandria Fusion White boy’s soccer team competed in the Dulles National Soccer Tournament and the Columbia Fall Classic. In the Dulles Tournament, Fusion White were Finalists in their first ever tournament! In the Columbia Fall Classic, Fusion White were Champions in their second ever tournament! Over the course of the two tournaments, the Fusion White outscored their opponents by a combined score of 22-4. Congratulations boys!
