Rising U14 Girls – Alexandria Thunder & Lightning (WAGS / ODSL)

Alexandria’s rising U14 Girls travel teams are looking for skilled, dedicated players with a love for soccer.  Coaches Bruce Fredrickson and Brent Harrison have more than 15 years of coaching experience and are looking to take the U14 Girls to the next level.  Tryouts for the 2010-2011 soccer year (Fall 2010 + Spring 2011) will be held on the following days:
 
   Fri. June 4            5:30-7:00pm  Potomac Yard (Route 1 / Jeff Davis Hwy)
   Mon. June 7         7:00-8:30pm  Ft. Ward (4401 W. Braddock Rd, behind school)
   Wed. June 9         5:30-7:00pm  Potomac Yard (Route 1 / Jeff Davis Hwy)
   Fri. June 11          5:30-7:00pm  Potomac Yard (Route 1 / Jeff Davis Hwy)
 
Interested players (born on or after 08/01/96) are encouraged to come to at least 3 tryout sessions, but must attend a minimum of 2 sessions.  If you plan to attend, please contact Katie Smythe (kdsmythe@comcast.net) or Collette LaPierre (collettecache@aol.com).
 
In case of inclement weather, the fields may be closed and tryouts will be cancelled.  Call the Youth Sports Hotline to find out about field closures (703-746-5597).  Note: Ft. Ward is a turf field and is never closed; tryouts will go on as scheduled unless a thunderstorm occurs at that time.
