U17 Storm Wins PWSI Toys for Tots Tournament
The U17 Alexandria Storm (NCSL Div 4) won the championship in their bracket at the 2011 PWSI Toys for Tots tournament with only 12 players from their roster and one guest player from the U15 Titans. Enduring injuries and no subs at times, the Storm won all 4 of their games with a combined score of 11 goals to 1 allowed. The team showed great fighting spirit and perseverance. Their cohesiveness and teamwork and great efforts were rewarded at the end.
